Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in most black schools while getting older. He could not go to school with white people unlike we do now. In 1953 Martin Luther King married Coretta Scott. One year later he was a minister at a church in Alabama. By then they had four children. Martin Luther King thought black people should be able to sit anywhere they wanted to on the bus, even next to white people. He led boycotts against the bus company in Montgomery, Alabama. He won the boycotts and than they sat on the bus where ever they wanted to on the bus.
