stuco delivers boo bags on halloween (maroon and white)

Boo Bags were delivered to students on the perfect day–Halloween. Student Council members promoted the bags for a $1 to help offset medical expenses for a fellow student.

The fundraising committee and other members took orders and prepared bags with candy and Halloween goodies.

“I loved my Boo Bags,” eighth grader Jenna Crum said. “I thought they turned out well.”

The 128 bags provided StuCo members with the opportunity to be creative. The leadership group always has a plan for the funds raised and this year is no exception. All proceeds of the boo bags are going to an eighth grade student who is currently receiving care in Dallas.

Student Council has a history of reaching out and previously helped former middle school student Olivia Hale with her smile surgery almost a year ago.

“The Student Council is definitely doing some great work,” Principal Becky Balboa said. “They have been doing amazing things these past few years and contributing to projects that are worthwhile,” she said.
